Default BC Forged 04s - Installed

I finally put my new wheels on today. I did not have time to clean them before snapping these few pics. Rubber is Falken 451s.

18x9 +25; 245/40
18x10 +30; 275/40

I almost forget, the red center caps will be replaced with black.

Are you sure the rears are 19s? They look like 18s to me. 18s are my preference BTW, I have a set of Nismos. Yours look awesome. On the pic. of the rear tire, I believe I am reading 18.

NO.....but you know what I did expect and I was right about? Iforged wasn't there. Perhaps it was too much of an open opportunity for disgruntled customers to confront them face to face.

the rears are 18s..he mistyped.

Morris...while you are waiting on the new caps...you can pull the red part of the cap off to reveal a plain silver center. Its just on there with light adhesive.

Thanks for the compliments. I have had the wheels and tires on the car for 5 days now. So, here is a little feedback.

I thought the wheels looked very good when I first put them on. But, now I think they look great! I like them more everyday.

What about wheel quality? Well, this is my first custom wheel, so I don't have much to compare them to. But, I think BC did a nice job. Are they perfect like the ones I heard about at SEMA? No. I had a couple of small scratches when I got them and the finish inside the spokes (not on the outward facing part of the spokes) seem inconsistent to me. And, I received the wrong center caps (in process of being corrected). But, I am very picky. Overall, I am happy with the quality.

What about tires? Thus far, I really like the Falkens. Much quieter
than the stocks. So far, I like the handling in aggressive street driving, and I think they look great on the wheel and car.

What about Discount Tire Direct Service? I dealt with Todd. And, I am very happy with the service. Todd told me it would take 4 to 5 weeks to get the wheels. I took about 10 weeks. It seems that BC had several delays and gave Todd incorrect information on status several times. But, Todd did a very good job and provding me with periodic updates and responding to my inquiries. They also gave me an additional disocunt for the long delay. I don't want to say how much it was, but I think it was generous.

At the end of the day, I am happy I hung in there through the delays. I could not have started over and gotten custom wheels any faster any where else. I think I got a quality, light weight, forged wheel at a good price. And, I am happy with the tire choice, and I thank Todd for helping me with that decision.

Would I buy BC Forged next time? I would certainly consider what they have to offer at the time and compare it others. All factors considered, I think they would have to a serious contender for me. If I was buying new wheels today, I think I would buy BC Forged again today.

Would I buy from from Discount Tire Direct again? Absolutely. We ran into unexpected problems, and I think they did everything they could to make it right.

Very satisfied customer.

Todd, thanks for all the effort.

I didn't weigh them. I recevied the wheels with the tires already mounted. I believe the fronts are 20lbs and the rears are 21 lbs. Working off memory. I think their website has the weights.

Morris, we appreciate your incredible patience during this situation. Unfortunately too many lines were crossed, and info didnt come out as it should have. I certainly thank you for being so cordial with me, and I appreciate your compliments on our service. In the end, you have yourself a very very rare set of wheels. Thanks again!
