I currently have some 19's and the front tires are KILLING me! wayyyyyy too much road noise and have barely any grip. And ever since I threw them on, my suspension doesn't feel like it used to anymore.
Basically, I'm mainly looking for a tire that has the most comfortable ride and the least road noise possible.. I'm willing to sacrifice a little bit of grip and longevity of the tire.
Any input would be greatly appreciated![Cool](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif)
budget = ∞

Nitto Invo, very quiet, sticky, good wear and softer sidewall.

What did you have before - same 19's or other wheels - widths? 225 isn't going to provide a lot of grip unless you go to a very sticky tire. 35 profile on a 19, you need a stiff sidewall just to protect the rim. I run 245/35/19F, 275/35/19R on NISMO LMGT4's and I wouldn't go smaller in for grip. Tires are last years Goodyear Supercup F1's, excellent tires with 220 wear rating, smooth due to lack of typical tread block type design. But the sidewalls have to be stiff, that's a low, low profile. Traction is excellent, road noise is minimal, wear is avg, and cost a little high. The 2010 tires I haven't tried, they have changed. But this type of tread design particularly in front does well on road noise, it's a smooth ride - firm, but smooth.

Yokohama S. Drive, my favorite street tire that I've run to date. Great grip, low noise, decent longevity (12k miles of 80mph commuting...still over 65% tread) and they perform very well in the rain. I couldn't ask for much more out of a street tire..

thnx for all your insight... love this forum for this reason...
The Z has 19" 06 G35 RAYS stocks on them.
So I have to get a stiff sidewall tire huh? wouldn't that sacrifice the comfort level of the ride though???? That's mainly what I care most about, I'll sacrifice some grip for excellent comfort level and no road noise.
