Hey guys,
Sorry if someone has already posted this. *changing into a flamesuite*
But I was wondering what the most common tire specs/set up were for this wheel?
I'm planning on getting TE37's, 19" with 9.5 front/10.5 rear with +22 offset
I'm also want to run Bilstein pss10's that have a max heigh of 1.2".
So I was also wondering how low some people are going with these.
I don't like something crazy low. (We have terrible roads and speed bumps where I'm from)
I'm also looking for a set up that'll keep the speedometer's accuracy as well.
So to sum everything up:
I'm looking for the most common tire set up for this that doesn't compromise speedometer accuracy as well as the common drop.
Thanks again everyone for helping out a nub.

^ I'll help you out nub... since I'm running the exact combo you're asking about.
Coilovers: Bilstein PSS10
Wheels: TE37's, 19" with 9.5 front/10.5 rear with +22 offset
Tires: my speedometer is on point. I also hooked up my friends radar detector that detect your speed and that's perfect too.
255/35/19 & 285/35/19
Drop:
Front: ~1.3 inches
Rear: 1.7 (maxed)

Hey thanks again for the quick replies guys.
I actually saw the set up on a G35 with the 245/35/19 275/35/19 and I heard a few people saying that the set up was slightly stretched.
But your right it does seem like the usual set up that people go with.
When I was going through this thread I found someone with a black Z and matching black TE's running 285 that was being discussed. I was curious about it but good to know that the speedometer is on point.
Hey PikesPeakZ, I really dig your Z man.
Pretty glad you posted because your Z was one of the first ones that I was looking at.![Big Grin](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
How much is your ride lowered btw?
I think Stogey is the one who owns the black Z that I described above, I think he should also know that I really dig his set up as well.
I think I lucked out getting responses from both of you guys![bowrofl](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/bowrofl.gif)
Just a few more questions if you don't mind...
I realize a little rolling of the fenders would likely be needed with the 275's but what about the 285? Would a simple roll suffice? I'm also wondering about speed bump clearance. Maybe Stogey can fill me in on that since we will likely be running the same set up
keep in mind though that I only plan on the min drop on the Bilsteins.
A little off topic here, Stogey (or others who might know this answer), but I heard that the ride height on the bilsteins can be raised above the advertised min drop. I was talking to Z1 and they informed me that the rear can actually be raised up to 0.5" lower than stock, I was wondering whether you know anything about the front specs? Personally I don't really want to go lower than 1"...
Thanks again guys.

If you plan on lowering it more than 1 inch... you will need to roll the front too b/c I was rubbing going over dips and bumps. But hear the rub first before you roll.
EDIT: You will need both front a arm and rear camber/toe kit unless you don't mind tire wear.
Everyone who buys coilover are looking to lower their car, not raise it. Maybe you should look into air bags

I do not know if the front can be raised .5" higher than stock b/c I'm only looking to lower.
EDIT: I rolled my front fenders b/c I didn't want to raise my front.
Trust me, you will. Not now but you will eventually

Yes, if you plan on running my tire set up with a 1 inch drop, you will need to roll your rear fenders (no need to roll front).

(what's in bold) You mean higher than stock?

I just wanted to know in the case that A) I ever need to raise it a bit for any reason B) I heard the Bilsteins are super comfortable so if in the case that I decide to revert back to oem I would like to keep them. kinda weird I know....
The sole reason I really don't want to go lower than 1" is because of the really terrible road condition from where I'm from (Vancouver). In many cases certain roads are riddled with pot holes and speed bumps are often higher than regulation.
![Mad](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif)
But yeah... I already feel the attractiveness of a slammed ride...
![Stick Out Tongue](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
Isn't your 1.3" in the front pretty close to max height?
The idea of rolling my fenders....

I realize this conversation may be drifting off topic.
If anyone has any objections, I could move it elsewhere.
Thanks again for everything.

Don't know how I haven't seen this car on here, its super clean... TE's and his tires are 265/35 in the rear as well.
