Volk TE37 Thread
So I'm super bored and managed to find this for you. This is what I was referring to. As for his offsets with the Challenges I don't know, but you could shoot him a PM I'm sure he'll help you out. Old thread is old... 2009!

Don't know how I haven't seen this car on here, its super clean... TE's and his tires are 265/35 in the rear as well.

^ wish I had the cojones to go that low. I think I might be sticking with 275/35's in the back so it looks a little better at higher ride height (i.e. with tops of the tires just about even with the fender arches)
Yea you might end up kicking yourself later if you go with 265's and have gap because your not lower. I enjoy my 275's just wish I could go lower and have a slight rake.
Anyway that's all off-topic, but I think it's settled: 275/35/19 rears it is. I might stick with 255/35/19 fronts because I like they way they look on the 9.5 width wheels.
Be warned that some tires are more square than others. PS2's run more square while V12's run less square. The sizes you picked are solid but a 255 might require a little pull in the front... I rubbed like hell with 255-35-19 Pirelli PZeros but my car is lower than most that aren't HellaFlushed.

Looks like tnk was running a 18" bronze in the first pic, +22 or +15. The second pic looks like 19" diamond black in a +12 all around.
For the TE37, here are some general guidelines for sizes in our offsets:
For the TE37, here are some general guidelines for sizes in our offsets:
- 18" will have more concavity, and no cast in lettering. Very small lip. To me, it's a great look!
- 19" will have flatter faces with cast in lettering.
- The rears in 10.5 with a +22 or a +12 will have a nice fat lip.
- +22 will be easiest to fit wider tires, if you plan on dropping much a simple fender roll will get you the clearance you need. I ran 285 on a +22 rear with a 2" plus drop with nothing more than a fender roll
- +12 will be more "flush" to the body and will require more work to fit a wider tire. If you want the "hellaflush" look go +12 with a 255 tire.
- The fronts in 9.5 have a big difference in look for a +22 vs a +12
- +22 will have a small lip, but plenty of room for a fat tire. 255 front tire or larger is generally fine.
- +12 will have fat lip that matches the rear lip, however there are clearance issues and you will be running a 245 or 255 max front tire, with the possible need for adjustable camber front a-arms if you are lowering. Also, if you have the stock Brembo brakes and want to run the +12 fronts, you will need a 3mm spacer for brake clearance. If you are going for "hellaflush", you will want this offset with maybe a 225 - very "aggressive" look and spacers will push it out more.
- Another option for the front is to run a 10.5 +22 up there... you will have the same fitment issues as a 9.5 +12 and I think need the 3mm spacer for Brembo. In essence, a 10.5 +22 is a 9.5 +12 with the extra inch in width added to the inboard of the rim, if that makes any sense.
- The rears in 10.5 with a +22 or a +12 will have a nice fat lip.
great info!!!!!!!
