Default Pics of your powder coated volks

Hello all:

I've been doing a search for images of volks that were not originally powder coated and have undergone a little surgery for one reason or another and have been completely powder coated barrel and all. In particular I'd love to see a set of the GT-V's. In my search I haven't found much of anything so here we are....

I'm doing this next month OP.

Anyone know the best way to take off the faces? and put them back on? Such as what pattern to use when removing/replacing bolts so they don't warp, or torque specs.

that's a good question. I'd like to know if anyone has the torque specs/pattern for these as well. Any other hints on going about doing this would be helpful too.

Next month if you do go about doing this, post some pics.

i found a thread from around 2006 on a different forum... apparently mackin told someone that 80 ft/lbs are the proper torque specs on the bolts.

I want to get my CE28's done soon but does anyone know if the flush volk center caps are metal? Can those centercaps be powder coated too?

BTW, if anyone knows where I could order these caps from, I would appreciate some help

The flat centercaps are plastic. What cant be powdercoated can always be painted and cleared for added durability. We can get the centercaps for you if need be, just shoot me a PM and let me know.

I tried to see if the info you requested was in the catalog I have here at the shop but unfortunately the catalog in front of me is entirely in Japanese.
