Default Work Mesiter and tire combo

Work Meister S1's. 19x9.5F and 19x10.5R. Currently running 265/35/R19F and 275/35/R19R. They look a tab bit stretched and am now looking into getting new tires. I'm thinking 275 or 285 up front and 285 or 295 in the rear, respectively. What do you guys think? Will I rub? I'm on stock suspension. I'd also like to get thicker tires, probably like 40. Again, will I rub if I go thicker?

Thanks

If you are going from a 275 to 285 mm tire all you need is a extra 5 mm on each side. You can certainly eyeball it.

275/35/48 285/35/18 should be good , going with a 40 series might give you issues if you decide to go low on coils

I didn't know people were into stretching 18 inch tires onto 19 inch wheels.

Not really. 40 series in 19 would be 225/40-19 and 245/40-19 and work great for a stammed car with aggressive offsets (-15 to 0). Then you have the 35 series tires 245 or 255/35-19 front and 275 or 285/35-19 rear that work great with semi aggressive offsets (+10 to +20) and then you have your 30 series 265 or 275/30-19 front and 295 or 305/30-19 rears for you max traction offsets (around +20 to +30)
