which one y'all prefer ?

i prefer neither, the best tire i have ever had on my z are my Yokohama S-drives. There not crazy expensive and they react and perform amazing in all climates. Especially rain i had a set of nitto nt555 when they first came out and i was honestly scared to death to drive in the rain cause theres only like 1 water channel the s-drives have 4 huge channels. tread wear is unlike any other tire i have owned. im running 275/30R20 i think.

i use Toyo T1R but out of those 3 i would choose the FK452 as well

I agree, they're not cheap but they got me through a New England winter just fine and I'm still driving on them. These are great all around tires.

Have the 452s. I like em.

But I don't do much to push them nor do I have a huge amount of experience to say good or bad.

Never used the other two, but think the 452 grips reasonably well dry and work very well in the rain. They can take a few track days and still deliver reasonable tread-life.

I've had fk452's in several widths and diameters, and I like them for DD in dry or wet conditions... Not to mention, they stretch pretty nice as well(if you're ever considering going that route...)

i had the fk452 and the tire wear sucks! didnt burn out or anything and 10k miles later rear is GONE the michelin sport plus a/s is probably the best tires im ever had its expensive but worth the investment

452s are great when new, but after 10k they were slick, 10k later bald.

Not the BFG for a daily. They are seriously the loudest tire I have ever ran. Luckily I have a good sound system and exhaust to drone them out on the freeway. lol

I don't believe its rated properly, I noticed my rears lasted about 12K and the fronts still have 5/32 left at 16K. Not sure what could cause such a high difference in wear but if you run square I think a couple of rotations will get you decent life for a 300 treadwear tire. Otherwise expect the rear to be gone after about 10-15K. However I think Falken is getting ready for a replacement, FK 453. I'm finding it tough to get two new rears right now and a couple of the shops told me the same rumor.

for 200 more bucks for the rear you can double maybe triple the life of thread wear, and that a smart investment if you ask me.

I don't know, Gotta be careful when choosing... sometimes a great deal is not what it seems. It would suck to be "stuck" with a tire you don't like because it lasts a long time.

I have had a winner like that (Bridgstone AS Potenza) but don't know if I'd do it again.
