Default Varrstoen ES2

I almost feel bad making this post about offsets but I'm pretty much ready to hit order and just need one solid confirmation for my setup. In my cart, I have 19x9.5 +22 fronts, 19x10.5 +22 rears, with 255/35/19 275/35/19. On a completely stock Z will this be ok without rolling/pulling the rear and no rubbing up front?

Yes... You're good. You don't need to roll and you won't rub. In fact you have plenty of clearance.

Question New Wheels, Need Help With Tire Sizes

Hello!

Today, I received my Varrstoen ES221 wheels. The rear size is 18x10.5 and the front is 18x9.5 (+22 offset on all 4 wheels). I've tried to find good sized tires to fit them but people's answers are all over the place. So now I need some help deciding on the right sized tires for my preference.

My current wheels are 17x9.5 and 17x8.5. I've been running with 20/25mm spacers My fenders are also rolled.

I really don't want them to look stretched with the lip sticking out. I prefer the tires to be even with the wheels (if that makes sense).

Any and all suggestions and responses are greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Just checking if this link works, it will help a bit https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...questions.html

You can also try looking in the wheel and tire section

You have a couple choices here....

First thing you will want to do: REMOVE THE SPACERS. +22mm is tight enough so that your wheels will not stick out. If you still have room (which I doubt you will if you go with the big meats, below), you can always re-install the spacers.

On tires, you could go with the aggressive fit that turboed350z recommended OR you can go with the tried and true, relatively conservative setup, 245/40-18 FRONT, 275/40-18 REAR.

MY preference (MINE ONLY), based on my mechanical setup (suspension) is going with the latter. (And note that the conservative setup is about equal wheel/equal tire section width as you noted in your request.) If you want the meaty, aggressive look with the off chance of increasing understeer, go with the former. Either work fine, however.

No prob. The "standard" set up works for me with absolutely NO clearance issues, no need for fender mods, and handles like a car on rails.

Default Est on stock suspension 17s

I'm wanting to get 17-9+22 all around wondering if +22 offset will get me closer to the fender. I need to fill up that gap people. Should I even go +12 in the rear and +22 in the front. The reason why I'm not getting 18s or 19s is because I'm trying to keep my tires. They are staggered 225 front 235 back. The stock rims are 17-7 1/2 F 17-8 R. I will have little tire stretch with the new set. Plz chime in need help quick.
Also if 17s wont look good I might just go with 18s or 19s and buy some falken tires or something. Plz give me input on the width and offset for 18s and 19s to get rid of wheel gap.

Fenders aren't rolled

+22 in front will be fine, the +12 in the rear... depends on the tire. i had (different brand wheel) 18x9.5 +15 and i had to roll fenders with a 275/40/18 tire... so you may need to run a narrower tire. don't just take my word, wait for others to chime in

or you could do the +22 on all corners and add a 5mm spacer to there rear essentially making you a +17

Funny but true.
17s OEM look small.
Aftermarket 17s, would look cute (not a compliment)
Save a bit more, and get at least 18s all around.

255/40 in fronts, almost zero'd out camber wise, i am sure you could fit a 275 up there with camber

Question

It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas..
U-Turn pothole was savage. These xxr's got to go.. LOL

About to pull the trigger on a set of ES6.
I'm thinking on going 19x9.5 +22 fronts and 19x11 +25 in the rears.
Offset Options: front: 0+ 22+ +12 | rear: 0+ 25+ +12

Tires: f:255/35/19 - r:275/35/19

I also have a stock Z and would like a setup without rolling and having no rubbing. What do you guys think on the offset and tire choice? Appreciate the feedback!

Default Buying wheels from eBay (good or bad?)

I recently got a 04' Z and I was looking at these wheels to get (the link will be down below). I know nothing about Z's or wheels. I just want to make it look clean as I can. I've been looking on eBay and they're a lot cheaper. Are eBay wheels legit or they just cheap knocks? Also last thing if I did buy these wheels what's they best tire size to get on these to make them look beefy and aggressive?

Here's the wheels:

They're 18x9.5 in the front and 18x10.5 in the back
