Assuming you're not tracking the car and simply lowering so it looks better i would go with the Tein S techs. They're pretty affordable and they lower the front and rears like 1.5" i believe.

that **** confuses me too...then i realized if i got JUST springs i'd eventually need to upgrade the shocks. therefore, i decided against that whole idea and saving up for a coilover system. thats one thing that you should do right the 1st time is suspension. wheels on the other hand....they're just wheels. lol...i was looking through another thread and saw a Z with mustang wheels and it looked really really good for what it was. anyways....get what suits you and suits your wallet. its YOUR car and YOUR money. when it comes down to it...all rims crack/bend/break and it all depends on how much u want to spend on a replacement rim when that happens.

i am no expert and i am just going by what others have told me in person and on forums.
i did a bit of research and was going to go with springs but all advice and signs pointed me to coilovers. Came across a lot of ppl that went springs and end up having to go to coilovers shortly and ended up in an "extra" cost if you want to call it that. 90% have said they would save up and go with coilovers from the start if they had to do it over again.
just putting that on the table. take from it what you will.
GoodLuck to you on whatever route you take.

I'm reading the 2010 Tein catalog and it says S-tech approximate drop 1.5 and H-tech drop is 1.2

Also Vex008 speaks the truth. Depending on what you want out of the car, coils will always be a better choice in the long run no matter the route you choose (weekend track runs, daily commuting, looking stanced). But if you're trying to save some dough and you're oem shocks are still good then by all means go with springs.

Tein told a fib! Exact springs I was looking into cause of the amount of drop it claims.
every single person that I came across says they only got about .75 - .90 of an inch. think only one person says he got just over an inch drop.
got to measure a friends g sedan that had them installed and they settled at about .85 of a inch 2 weeks after install. (closest i got to first hand experience with the tein springs)

Ha, yeah. I'm now just thinking about going with Sportlines, but i've been doing some looking around and people are saying that the pro-kit is a lot better than the sportlines? I don't know much about either except that with the sportlines, i'm prolly gonna have to go with a rear camber kit?

I Have an eibach kit(came on the car). I think the lower of the two. And i like them. Nice drop and nice ride.

On the rims issue. Get what you like. The Kai are great looking rims in the right offset. On the cheaper vs $$$$$$$. I just picked up a set of rota grids. Cosmic blue used from a member. The rims look great. My car is a DD. So i didn't want to spend a small fortune on something that could get damaged. Before I had a set of Advan RGII so I had myself some "name" brand wheels. I was always so critical with them ooo new scuff whats this that. Just not worth it imo. When a Rota torque is rolling next to an emotion tell me the difference

Search zilvia.net g35driver local forums, evoluntionm.net, nasioc.com(the last two have been running some sick rim set ups lately). People are always selling rims.

Chris
