Default Picture request.

Alright, i'm on sort of a budget, and was considering getting works, cr-kais. But, since my budget is a little tight, i've been thinkng about Purchasing Rota Torques. These wheels look the same basically, and was wondering if anybody has these wheels in any color on a Redline Z. I've been thinking about bronze, but can't decide. Can people maybe post some pictures for me? Thanks.

Jwill,

You can do alot of colors on the Redline and look great. I've seen a redline on here somewhere with bronze CR-kais or Torques and it looks amazing. Just figure out how much you want to spend and go with that. Those two wheels are the same size and offset typically. That's considering you're ok running replica wheels.

edit: just stumbled across bronze on redline

wow, thanks man. I really appreciate it. I can't afford the Cr-kais honestly, haha. But they do look amazing. I was thinking about either Torques or maybe the Advan replicas and go with the G-force's. My friend has the torques on his tibby, so thats the only thing keeping me from getting them. The color i was thinking about was white on my redline. Or gunmetal g-forces. the white is different around my parts, cause everyone is rolling on black wheels around here.

Thanks, man. My setup is about $3K since I bought the wheels used.

How much you planning to spend on wheels and tires?

Depending on your budget, we can help you out.

$1K for wheels and tires?

Maybe look in a set of used wheels and tires in the classified section.

if you MUST get wheels cause that bug gets the best of us.
keep your stocks
put together just a little more $ than 1k
get a used set of enkei rpf1 or nt03 and save up for what you really want. the enkeis would sell quicker and higher than rotas IMO
put back on your stocks
sell the enkeis + what you saved and get the baller wheels.

This. Get rpf1's 18x9.5 18x10.5

You really won't be able to buy a quality set of rims and tires for under 1000 dollars even used. The rpf1's without tires will set you back around 1200-1300. Tires maybe 500.

You will have the most luck looking at the classifieds here and jumping on a set of used Volks/Works for a good price.

I think this is a huge issue these days, the simple answer is DONT GET NEW WHEELS. Why put low quality fake wheels on your car? I cant afford to buy a Lambo and put gas in the car or you know, eat, that doesn't mean I'm going to buy a 1986 Fierro with a ghetto *** lambo kit and be a poser. Its fall anyways, you should put some money away every pay check and save some cash. Hopefully if you are good with your money you will have some left over for spring. You can sell your stock wheels to the S13-S15 guys and purchase some quality non-ghetto fake wheels.
Do you really want to be like the guy with a Hundai? You could be twins?

OP,

White wheels on red will look nice as well. If I were you, I'd stay away from getting cheap wheels. They are cheap for a reason.

You can definitely find used quality wheels and tires for less than $2K. Keep looking for a set on classified section.

Unless your going to track your car high end wheels are not much more than a status symbol. If you like the Rota's and they are in your budget I would say go for them. Not everyone feels the need to make a statement about 3-4k wheels on a 20k car O.o Now if your going to drag or track the car then I would advise saving up for some lighter higher quality rims. I am sure you kind find plenty of folks touting both Volk's and Rota's each for their own reasons.

Thanks for all the feedback today. I am not tracking my car, just a daily driver basically. Just looking for something that'll look nice basically. When i first got my Z, the first thing i wanted was Volk Te-37s TA and the longer i had the more i thought that 4 grand for wheels just seems so high for just a daily driver. So, now i'm kind of stuck on Work emotions Cr-kais, which are my favorite wheels basically. they are 1500, but i was seeing if there was anything cheaper than these. I'm stuck on these wheels or just going cheap and getting a set of Rotas, but nahh. I really don't wanna match the hyundai. ha.
