Default thin tires

i am just wondering if i make the tire thiner, will it effect how vdc works?

Depends on the phase of the moon observed from the top of the sasquatch's head. I here he is not far from you ... maybe in Manitoba.

if the overall diameter (rims + tire) of the new setup is over an inch smaller then the new diameter, it will throw off your TCS, i dunno about VDC cause i don't have that...don't forget your gonna have a larger wheel gap if you get thinner tires

I know this doesnt answer your question but why on earth would want a smaller contact patch?

Im assuming you mean thinner as in 225 instead of 245 type this wouldnt affect VDC

Talking Thinner Tires

I had my Toyo's on the Atkins diet and after eating lo-carb, they got really thin. It did not effect my traction control.

However, my friend let his tires (S-03's) only eat at Subway (with Jared) and they did not get quite as thin. But I think his VDC had some cramping problems because of a lack of fluid intake.

Just my 2 cents................

sorry about the vague guyz~!
wat i meant was the "height" of the tire or the overall diameter of wheel + tire?
i dono the terminalogy for that..so excuse me!
