nope have 275/35 on 19x11 so 10.5 will work fine.

wow thats really stretched on there... as you can see, itll fit, but this is a 275 on a 9.5" tire which some would say is the proper combination.

you can see the difference in the sidewall.

Id bump it up to a 295 IMO... I think itd ride and handle better, just cost a few extra bucks, but if you only plan to run a 275 just get a 9" to 10" rim no?

I was going to go with a 295 but toyo doesn't make one in that size. so I went with the 275. It really doesn't look bad in person.

Let me get this straight you spent the extra money to get an 11" wide wheel and you put a 275 wide tire on it? Man you could run 300+ width tire. Idealy a 295. I dont understand why someone would by such a wide wheel to run a reletively narrow tire. Hmm. I plan on 18 x 10.5 and 295's in the rear. The more tire the better!

Edit: I saw your post on why you chose 275 but there are other brands than Toyo.

Tire spec sheet says 275/40/18, recommended rim width 9.5". Rim width range 9-11". So you're OK.

More tire isnt better for everyone.

245/40/18 on 18x10s... and not enough stretch for my liking.

no more tire isnt nescessary. but... if you only want 275, why go with a 10.5 or 11" rim? just more weight and money for no reason at all.

well... I guess there is appearance, I somewhat understand the whole 19" appeal, but I totally miss the stretched tread appeal. I personally love the look of a nice boxy tread on a rim.

I am just waiting for more companies to build a 295/19/30 I just didn't like my choices at the time. Toyo says they will have one by next year. So I am hopping these will last me till then.

My comment wasnt implying wider is better, I was simply asking why he chose such a wide wheel if he wanted a narrow tire. And while stretched tire may look nice the functionality is in question. With such an important part of the car such as tires, it makes sense for functionality to come first.
