Question Any value for used rims?

I was wondering.. it seems to me car mods depreciate in value quickly! I bought these rims about 6 months ago but am having second thoughts. I think i want to go with a simpler design with darker centers like the GT-7s. Anyone know if i could get any money for mine now, and if i should switch to the gt7s?

ya they are very similar but a littler lighter shade of gunmetal. I love the real dark gt7 look contrasting with the polished lips. plus i dont know if i am still as thrilled with the mesh look as i was originally.
Questions...
Should i switch from BBS to GT-7s?
If I do, can i get any value out of my current rims?

Post it on private ad section of the forum if you want to sell them. As for the value, it really depends on the demand, condition of the rims.

I have few questions,

What size are they?
Are they clean or does it have scratches?
Are they BBS? If yes, Are they forged?
How much do you want for them?
I might have a buyer.

By the way, those are nice rims. BBS make one of the best wheels in the industry.

Default Peer Pressure?

I do like my rims alot.. thats why i got them but i feel the urge to join the Volk Cult
They are in great shape as i have only had them for 6 months... aLthough i just noticed today a little flaking of the polish on the very outer edge of one wheel ? It must be from a pot hole! I dont know what i would want for them, i depends on how much i could find a set of 19 inch gt7s for and what kind of offers i get. I guess...
Around 2,650 for Volks
And if I am lucky 1,900 for mine? They retail for around 4,200

BBS forged wheels on your car now? You want to get rid of them? IMO, they look great. Keep them. Use your money for other mods.

personally, i also really like the rims that you have now. i like them better than the ones you are planning on getting. plus, you would be ok a $2,300 loss? you could keep your beautiful rims and like lowrider said, get some mods. $2,300 doesnt go as far on the z as it would on the mustangs, but still, you can do quite a bit.

Thanx, I think i will keep them.. but "you would be ok a $2,300 loss" actually i already spent that to buy them so it would only be a loss of the difference between the two sets (Accounting)
