If all 4 are peeling, and they're not that old, send them back or contact Rota directly. There's no reason they should be peeling other than poor surface preparation before the finish was applied. How old are they, and have they been refinished?

I just bought them. But, my question was just in general. Also, can anybody recommend any quality wheel cleaners.

Just don't use any heavy acidic cleaners. Soap and water FTW

I've never heard of any issues, as long as you don't use any harsh wheel cleaners they should be fine.

Sorry guys it was late at night for me and I wasn't being very clear. By "just bought them" I meant that they arrived in perfect condition and are in perfect condition. I was just worried whether anyone has experienced peels or w/e. Btw thanks for the info, will not use wheel cleaners lol.

I read a post of davidv where he says to mix car soap with water 50/50 in a spray bottle. Sounds good to me.

Guys, please read all of OP's post beside the first. He states that he was just asking in general and that his wheels are fine.

To answer your question, teo, I haven't heard of peeling issues on Rotas. Although I will say this, any wheel paint can peel. I've seen threads here of paint peel on Volks.

ha ha. I thought I was going to see paint chipping.

Car wash is safe. You may have to get aggressive with the front wheels. Rear wheels are easy to keep clean.

Yes. Simple but valuable statement.

I get into trouble in the detailing forum for recommending household remedies instead of expensive and exotic detailing products. An example is Murphys Oil above. Oil and tar on the paint? No problem with a little Murphys Oil and soft towel.

I usually soap and water but I use Griot's wheel cleaner sometimes on my wheel faces b/c it has a matte finish. I've used them on my BBS' LM's,RGR's, my buddies Work T1r's and I've never had a problem with it.
