meguirs all wheel cleaner blows

picked up a bottle of this to clean the inner barrel of my rays grand touring wheels , i sprayed a bit to the inner barrel and it started getting hazy so i quickly rinsed it off. What else will work besides water and soap something i can get a auto zone or pepboys,
honestly
all these high end wheels are clear coated
though these cleaners say safe for clear coat wheels or safe for all kinds of wheels they are not
you really always needs to wait until wheel is cool to the touch not hot, and use soap ( armor all car wash soap, meguirs car wash soap, blue coral car wash soap ) and only use soap and water
dry with a chamois cloth
that is all
sorry
no easy way
if you are able to wash and dry wheels 1 time a week they never have a chance to build up to much brake dust

yeah, just take care of the wheel the same as the paint on your car.... I just got done washing, clay baring, cleaner wax then waxed them with paste wax...... takes awhile but they look great

For normal cleaning (outer face and lip) I use the same car soap I use on the car, Turtle brand "ICE" car wash solution, with a microfiber wash mit.
As far as the inner barrels go, IMO it's going to be pretty tough to get those clean with soap and water if there is a lot of build-up, i.e. like they've never been cleaned before.
Maybe someone can chime in.....would it be safe to use a more "greasy" soap, like dish soap, on the inner barrels?

The best stuff to get is not likely to be sold at PepBoys...but some higher end wheel places may stock it
2 I've used, and like alot
P21S
Diablo Gel
with either of these, the best way is take the wheel off, follow the directions, and use a dedicated brush.

Talk about ****, maybe if my car was worth 1/4 mil, then i would pay someone to do it for me.

My grandpa always told me anything worth doing is worth doing correctly.
OP: just clean them to your idea of being clean and suitable for you....
