Default What wheels would look best on my Z? (I have 2 to coose from)

First let me start out by saying that I dont care about wheel brands, I am not a Volk ***** or any other brand. I just care about what looks best on my Z. Below is a pic of my Z with the wheels that are on it now will be sold this winter. I have a chance to get a set of used Volks that are in very good shape for a good deal. Or I can get a set of Five AD wheels new. Both are 19x9.5/10.5. The Volks come with tires with good tread left on them, the Five AD wheels would need new tires. I am looking at about the same price for the used Volks with used tires as the Five AD wheels with new tires. If I get the Volks I would get the center powdercoated gloss black. What do you think would look the best on my Z?? Thanks

None of them are RE's.

I don't really like either. I think a set of RPF1's would look good in matte black.

What are the offsets?

The Five AD wheels are 22 and 25 (I think) I have no idea what the Volks are.

Unless you are getting a hell of a deal on the Volks I would pass. If you like the Five's that's cool, they would look okay. There are also some better fitting options in that same price range though as well.

What would be a hell of a deal? It would be my wheels, tires and spacers (20mm) that are on my Z now (so he could use them as track wheels) plus cash. I dont know how much cash though, we havnt really set a number yet. I would be looking at $1000 for my wheels, tires and spacers to go into the deal. how much cash do you think I should offer? If I decide to go with the Volks. It looks like the Volks are about 4 years old.

I guess the cash would make or brake the deal... I'm assuming they're Z offsets which is good so you dont need a set of spacers. I'm going to agree with Ruthless by far the best economical wheels you can get are RPF1's. I picked up my set brand new for less than 1500.00 shipped to my house.

Yup, The Volks have the Z offsets. They are on a Z now so no spacers needed. I dont need spacers for the Five AD wheels ether. I really like a five (kinda five) spoke wheel. The RPF1's are a 6 (kinda 6) spoke wkeel. I guess the wheels I am looking for are a "split 5" spoke wheel. I need a dark face on the wheels due to me going for a black and silver Z.

the volks would look nice in your chrome silver z. Btw, is that the tommy kaira badge on your front bumper? Did you sand out the red part? Looks nice.

I noticed that too... I was tempted to buy one recently when I ordered my Heavy Baby. Apparently I was thinking the wrong way about where I'd want to put it. That's a perfect place... Looks great.

OP: Personally I'd take the Volks. Obviously it's the style you're shooting for but the color would compliment your Z the best; I feel. Everything about the Volks I like better than...

Yup, Its a TK badge. I just let it sit in paint thinner for a few hours and all the red paint wiped right off. As for where I put it, I wanted to keep it on my car after I got the black chrome Z badges for the sides and rear. I thought it would look good in the front of the Z and besides that I had a big empty spot on the grill to fill with something

^^Nice. I was debating whether to paint mine all black or not, but your polished look looks nice too.

+1 on the RPF1's.

If you do insist on choosing one of the two I like the Five AD wheels with your current setup.

The best wheels are the ones you like best. Is this the correct answer?
