Default BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW

I really like what I've read on these tires. Has anyone tried them? I like the new tread pattern. From all the reviews I have read, they seem very fast and have long tread life. I've haven't seen anyone on this forum use them though.

By the way, they don't come in the sizes I need for my stock 17's. Any recommendations on the lightest 18" on the market?

Thanks.

SSR Type-Cs/Competitions are about 17-18lbs or you could go with the classic TE37s or the NISMO LMGT4s are pretty good too.

BF Goodies: mmmm...traction

I tested these for BFGoodrich along with the KD's. The KDW is definately and awesome tire, and i really enjoyed it. But i prefered the KD's in a drifting scenerio. As for grip racing, i dont know what to tell you.

Anybody use the "New Tread" KDWs? Got any reviews on them?

I hear nothing but good things so far on these tires.

I don't see valid sizes for the 18" wheels on the Tirerack web site. Where did you find the correct sizes in this tire?

The tirerack does not list all teh sizes, I think they only list the ones they have in stock. go to www.bfgoodrichtires.com to see them all. They got the proper 19 inch sizes now too.

All I can say is WAIT !!!

The KDW 2 will have the full range of sizes in a few months !!! As compared to the KD which is "dangerous at best in wet weather" according to BFG, the KDW2 is the best out there !!!

The KD pulled 1.0g on the Nismo 350z ... the KDW2 pulled .98g. BUT, where as BFG would not run the KD on a wet track, the KDW2 pulled .89 on a wet track !!! Go to tirerack.com and look at the reviews !!!

Trust me on this on and wait !!!
