Default Mounting mail order tires

So I've found some rims at reasonable price (18" ADR, either M-works or Cypher, still making up my mind) and I will have to buy tires to fit. I live a ways in the country, and have no idea of a real quality installer who can mount and balance them.

Any suggestions? Do places like TireRack sell tires and mount on wheels you supply? Or, anyone in western North Carolina (Hendersonville area) know of a quality installer? I can make it to Spartanburg or Greenville if I have to....

Thanks for your help!

John

Check the tire rack site - they have a list of recommended installers for different states.

DiscountTireDirect.com also has a list of installers and I believe they can ship the tires directly to them to save you taking them there yourself. I did the exact same thing that you are going to do and I had everything installed locally. I got the ADR Cyphers in Gunmetal if you would like a few pics to see what they look like.

Yes, Make sure the place you bring your tires/wheels to be mounted with a good tire mounting machine. Especially 18+ wheels, with low profile tires

Ask what kind of equipment they have. Try to find one with a new hunter. This has a urethane arm, so there is less of a chance of your wheels getting damaged.

Yes, we have a list of certified installers, and have info on the machinery they use so we can recommend someone that can, and knows how to...work on your car.
