Default 215/65R16 winters on 350z

Hey peeps

I came across an amazing deal for soem steelies with snwo tires on them..only problem is their size... 215/65R16

I did the calculator and for rear its only off by 1.2 % but front is a whole 4.0%...

Whats your take on this...I have 03 Touring... would this be unbareable on the VDC?

Thanks

I doubt 16" wheels will fit over the brake calipers.

Well, you have a number of things you'll need to look at. First, searching this forum will provide you good information about what percentages will work to avoid VDC issues, and what sizes of wheel/tire fit this car. Second, 16" wheels will likely not clear even non-brembo brakes. Third, even if they did, you will have to find out offsets to those "steelie" wheels since in addition to clearing the calipers, the wheels will need to clear the suspension and fenders also.

PS: Steelies look awful on a 350z, its worth an extra $200 to find a used set of stock 17" wheels.
