Question What tire size for 19X9 and 19X10?

Looks like I'll be getting a set of Gewalt EVO 2's. 19X9 front and 19X10 rear. What tire size you guys recommend? Also, 19X9 okay width for the front?

19x9 front is ok, some even 19x9.5 front. Put 205/55/19 front and 225/55/10 rear.

205 on a 9.5 and 225 on a 10 rear? wth, that will not fit.

the usual size in a 245/35/19 and rear is a 275/35/19 or a 285/35/19...

where did you come up with 205 ans 225?

Where the hell did this guy get his info?

I would run 255's in the front and 285's in the rear. That will be a nice setup. The gewalts are a nice wheel too.

Bat

Glad to see you're finally getting your wheels. 9s are OK in front, if the offset is right. What offsets are you getting? Don't go overboard on tire sizes. 245/35 and 275/35 would be just fine. What brand of tire. As you know, I like the Dunlop SP 9000s. Priced right and handle great.

I'll be getting them off my friend Paul. Here's what they look like on his ride. I'll be getting them custom powdercoated charcoal metallic. Goin' with the dark theme, like I had on my Celica.

Wow bat, you went from almost getting 18x7.5 18x8 to 19x9, 19x10, good choice!! I have some wheels of those exact dimensions on order and they will be matched with 245/35 and 285/35. I believe 275/35 will work fine in the rear as well. Post pics when you have em mounted!

I have 245/35 and 285/35 I think, I will verify but the 285 in the back makes the rear a little taller fills the well better. without having to slam the car.

Got the tires and wheels installed. The Dunlops are really nice, very quiet and smooth. Thanks to those who recommended them. Now, gotta take some pics.
