because of the grip R888 offers do u know a street tire that would work similar or close to R888

so if no for 305/45 .. would a 305/35 fit ?

i need them because of TT kit power (545whp) for extra grip no sideways if and when i race

305/35 would probably be ok. R888s aren't that sticky when they're not in operating temperature. A good street tire, like Kumho XS, Hankook R-S3, BS RE-11, Dunlop Star Spec, Kumho V710, or a MT ET Street Radial, etc., would probably be better. I used to run the BFG Drag Radial on the rear of my high HP machine and really liked them until I tried to take a very mild turn - on the highway - at speed.

I know how you feel, the speed bumps here are a killer (not to mention the potholes).
I stayed with stock suspension because i knew i wouldn't be able to go anywhere lowered.

I got 18" 255/40 F and 275/40 R Toyo T1R and its working great.
Here is how my car looks (Keep in mind it is still under construction)

This number effects speedometer reading, operation of VDC and handing characteristics. I recommend that you stay within plus or minus 3 percent of the circumference.

You were "told" your Jics are set to their highest. Have you verifed this by you turning a wrench yourself? Reason I ask, most coilover system's for the Z do not force you into that much of a drop.

IMO in the end I would go with another coilover system, if it was my car I would have pulled the Jics off the car the moment I got home with it, not a product I would own, even if they were free, they'd still get pulled.

When stock i was still scraping but the speed bumps we have are random sizes/shapes. If you know how to approach and where to go you can avoid some.

i have to jump in, as you have all been ridiculously helpful so far, almost uncharacteristicly so..
Its a BUMP, not a pump.

Speed bump.

speed pumps are what you pull with an ugly chunky butt girl.. and then run away in shame.

I now retreat to my desk to actually work again..

ya, there's no way that -1.5" is the highest ride setting. You should be able to put the ride height back at stock, which is 100% what I would do with all those bumps.

Also like someone else mentioned, the resonators are probably whats banging as well. Get them cut out if you dont wanna raise too much.

As others have said already, the Roberuta Cup Kit is a viable option if raising the car cannot occur.
