Need Tire Recommendations for 245/35/19 and 275/35/19
In the near future I'm picking up a new set of 19" wheels which as a result need new tires since I'm on 18" right now. Currently I'm on BF Goodrich G-Force T/A:
Front:
245/35ZR18 38Y
Rear:
275/35ZR18 95Y
And I'm more than happy with their performance. However, being that I'm in college, I am on a pretty tight budget and can't afford the Grade A tires out there. So, I was hoping maybe some of you guys could give me some suggestions on some tires you have heard/used with respectable performance while not breaking the bank. Thanks in advance for your help

I have a set for sale in the texas marketplace but the fronts are 245/40/19. Whatever you choose though, Hankook's will probably be the best choice.

I agree on the Hankook Ventus v12! Checking prices online @ Tirerack, Gripston, and Discount Tire Direct, I found that Discount Tire Direct had the lowest prices shipped for them.

I'd have to say the V12's also. Great tire for the money, lots of happy people using them. There's also the BFG KDW2, but they are lot noisier than the V12's are. Call me if interested!

i just installed my nitto neogens on my 19in axis hiros, love them. look great and stick nicely. exact same size. only 720 on discount tire. and VERY fast shipping. it says free shipping so you assume itll be slow but i got them in 4days!! great deal and service

Have any of you guys recommending v12's actually gone through a set of them? I have... and I wouldn't buy them EVER again, let alone recommend them to anyone.
Best bang for your buck tires are falken fk452. I drive the **** out of my z, and it is really low. I've been through 4 different kind of tires... they last the longest and have the best performance next to t1r's as far as budget tires go. The tread wear on t1r's is the only reason I don't stick to them... fk452's give me a lot more miles per set and have comparable performance to the toyo's.

Had 452's and will never buy then again, not as sticky as an INVO and got 10k less miles out of them. Right now i have a BFG G-force All Season on the back 30k miles on them and V12's up front. My 05 has V12's on the back with good results so far.

This is why reviews are confusing the hell out of me. It seems like there are good and bad tires because some people swear by the V12's and say they are the best tires ever and some say the complete opposite of FK452's. But just now someone is saying V12's are garbage and they tested the FK452's are better when Terrasmak is saying the complete opposite.
I will say I hear a LOT more positive reviews about the V12's than the 452's. Just crazy how sometimes I'll read someones review saying the opposite from the majority of other reviews. I just got 2 V12's in the rear and hopefully they will be good for DD and last me over 15,000 miles.

I mean, it's all relative. I think people who drive a stock 350z are going to have different results than someone like me who is really low, w/ a small amount of negative camber. I also drive mine pretty aggressively on the street.
I got 10,500 miles on the rear from the v12's (wires showing). Didn't even get a chance to flip em, due to them wearing so quickly. Wet performance was sub-par... and when they got around 7k miles, dry performance was embarrassing for a tire running $215 each.
Never had any issues with the t1r's or fk452's. The fk452's have better tread wear than the t1r's.
