Like its my opinion, that its super childish to put someone on blast, just because they have a different opinion than yours.

And to start a thread about someone when you dont even know its actually him is pretty childish as well...

I come originally from the honda world. I must say the honda world is the biggest brand snobs ever. If the word rota was even brought up you best get your flame suit on.

Lol @ Z being an "expensive" car. You can't be serious. It's a 350Z for goodness sakes. You can buy an HR with under 30,000 miles for under 20k...hell under 18k if you look around. Buying custom, forged, 3 piece, etc. whatever wheels for $5,000 for an 18-20k car is just stupid...not smart. What will you do if you had an CLS Benz or E92 M3? Pay $15,000 for wheels? Wheels get curbed, they get scratched, they get dirty, etc. Who gives a damn what type of wheels you have on, just cause your wheels are more expensive doesn't make your Z better than someone elses Z.

I came from the Subaru Community and a LOT of them run rotas, they come in great sizes/offsets/finishes at an affordable price. Coming to the Z community, if you get Rota you're automatically a n00b who doesn't know about cars and a ricer. That is plain stupid and ignorant. Even Varrstoens, people who want that look but can't afford dropping $4-5,000 on wheels and tires get shitted on by 90% of the forum brand ******.

I've dealt with Dan and Subydude a lot and they are all great guys, and I do agree with him. Z owners are brand ****** and act like douches sometimes. I'm sure a lot of you are well aware of what other car owners think of Z/G drivers...douches. This is one of the reason why.

Its true...I didnt become a brand snob until I joined these forums though.

Then again I didn't have good taste in rims until I joined either.

Its only for rims though...I could give 2 sh*ts about what brand my camber arms, intake, subs, or lugs are. As long as they are reliable, sound good, or look good. I never liked any of the Rota brand rims until I HAD to sell my volks and get T1S reps...Even then I was choosing the best of a bad situation heh. What can I say everthing falls short of gold sf challenges

Id rock rota wheels no problem. I just happened to find a used set of volk wheels with tires locally and paid pretty much what id have paid for new rotas with new tires...hes right tho, z owners are wheel snobs! A higher class car needs higher class wheels?

What's the story OP? You have 100+ posts in 8-9years of being on the forum.. The last time you were active was in another Rota bashing thread in 2008, and now you started your own. They cutting into your business?

But, I think there can be good arguments on both sides of the snob comment.. and not just for wheels.

I understand what you mean. But what I meant is the actual car. Obviously you have better wheels, but doesn't mean your car is now better in a way just cause you have expensive wheels. Get what I'm saying?

Very well said. Some 100k dollar cars don't even come with wheels that cost that much. Lets see, Corvette ZR1 has $2500 wheel package... Porsche 911 Turbo has $3,400 wheel package. I know thats only stock wheels, but like I said, these are 100k+ cars we are talking about. But yet I'm going to put 4-5K dollar rim/wheel package on my 15K dollar Z I don't care what people do to their Z, but I would never try to put someone down or belittle them if they buy less expensive wheels.

Yup the Volk nuthuggers get annoying. Also if your on Rota wheels, they will crack and make you crash. No ideas why, but the Volk nutlovers say so.

you're mixing "better" and "expensive". what makes a wheel better is the manufacturing process, not the fact that it's more expensive...
