I think the whole point is why buy an expensive car if you only could buy cheap knock offs? You might as well buy a cheaper car like a civic cause a lot of civics run rotas.

It's sad, but true to a certain extent. There is a majority of people who wouldn't put anything but Rays, BBS, Work, etc, on their cars. I for one, rolled on stockers until I was able to get Nismos instead of purchasing cheap replicas. Wanting quality and expensive things isn't bad. What makes it unacceptabe is when you look down on people who can't afford the same things that you can.

If we all weren't such "brand snobs" we all would settle for Rota's. I kept my stock wheels until I could afford authentic ones.

Zs should not be considered expensive. Even when I got mine 5 years ago, I would not consider it expensive. But your point is well taken, I do feel the car deserves highest quality parts. That said, I don't take the slighest offense to people throwing cheaper parts on their cars.

Yeah that's true but everyone has there own preference on there own car and they should never be judge weather it's cheap or expensive or weather it's low, stock, stretch tire, non stretch. We should all be a family cause we all have the same car. For me it's not a problem it's up the owner on what he wants for it.

Dan is a good guy and if you've ever dealt with him, he keeps all his promises. What he said in the quoted post is true

This is funny,

I created the thread there because I know a lot of suby and Evo guys also run Rota's. I was considering picking up a set and wanted opinions for tracking use without throwing a flame suit on here...

Screw Dan's "snob" response and screw Rotas. Brand ****** can afford to be mean, among other things.
