VIP Status Wheels Issue #2 or more

hey guys im getting wheels from rick too. sorry for the long rant. i spoke with him today round 430 pm. i was told i would get my wheels at the end of nov. im still waiting for them. the 2nd shipment is here he said. rick is having problems with customs on the shipment cuz they are having issues with the paperwork to verify that all the wheels are paid for.
the paperwork from japan does not seem to be complete according to him and he cant get in touch with his people in japan due to the tragedy there. rick said the dock that the ship left in japan is gone and that he lost 2 guys in the disaster. hes trying to work it out with customs by sending all the paperwork he has on his end.
i dont know how true this is and it sux for the some of you waiting for a long time for your wheels. sorry guys. since i live in socal im goin there next week to VIP regardless to do either of 3 things:
1) put the wheels on the car(hopefully that they arrived) or
2) see if i can pick up the wheels at the port in long beach according to rick if its possible and put them on at the shop or
3) get my deposit back from rick.
once again sorry for the long post. one question, how long does customs normally take on a shipment like this til they release it?

i havent recieved tracking YET..I talked to Rick today..He said their here..He said they're assembling the wheels with the rivets i ordered..He's waiting for the lugs he promised me..Then he will ship out..

Yeah, rick told me he lost two guys from japan...very sad...I'm still waiting on the tracking number...

and the two Work factories according to their english website are in Sakai city.OSAKA, and in Mimasaka city,Okayama if you google map it you'll see they're even further down and more western than Tokyo, and Tokyo itself isnt even affected, and from what my friends in Japan told me, I have two, the southwestern part of the country everything is operating normally.
is this guy still a sponsor here or any other forum out there ???

Japan is in turmoil right now but I guess those who aren't affected by it can still conduct business.
It's excuse after excuse and one false verbal ETA after another with no tracking # to support this makes it hard for me or us to believe... b/c talk is cheap

Condolences to the two guys being lost. I'm sure that story isn't made up as that would be an entirely new low...
I deal with ship movement in japan and aside from the north east, things are pretty normal at the other parts. They have all agreed though to save electricity in their day to day living and to provide aid/donations to relief programs for people affected. I even have a buddy of mine hitting up Osaka for some tourism and she says everything is normal, aside from people watchin/reading about the news more than normal.

Spoke with rick yesterday, He was checking my wheels yesterday and Mike's. He told me would get them shipped them out late in the day or today itself. wheels expected to arrive here in Texas monday being latest.
