Default need your opinion re wheels

hello all, i'm in the process of a custom wide body design (not a flare kit) for my 03 350z. i would like to make a decision on wheels and tires and here is where i need your help.

i would like to fill the rear wheel well with more tire, as such i need to know what the ideal 19" wheel/tire set-up would be. my wide body design will extend out approximately 2-3" inches on each side in the rear and 1-2" in the front.

i can remove or cut away any part of the fender lip if necessary.

i don't want issues with tire rubbing, wheel/brake issues etc.

i don't mind using a high-end spacer of approximately 1-2" if required.

will a set of tsw kyalami (hypersilver) wheels 19X8... 40 offset front and 19X9.5... 20 offset rear allow for a wide enough tire to achieve my objective? if not why and what would you recommend?

thanks for your help on this,
regards,
autosportZ

19x9.5 for a widebody, is that going to be your spare?

sounds like youv got some money to spend if your going to take on this project....Im sure you can afford some good rims to go with it.

make them 19/11 -25 front and 19/13 -50 rear and your good to go if your actually going that much wider.

thank you for your input regarding the wheel sizes. i looked at the photos of your wide body project... nice work! i am planning an entirely new design including wide body look using polyurethane foam.

design knowledge i have, mechanical expertise i do not, this is more of a design project... if it works the performance part of it comes later.

i assume your suggested set-up deletes the spacer from the equation?

with your suggested wheel set-up what tire sizes would you recommend?

how much farther from the lip will your tire suggestion extend?

will this require any cutting off of the fender or lip to achieve an aggressive set-up without tire rubbing?

thanks again for the help, i appreciate the knowledge and suggestions the members can offer me.

regards,

Wheels are too skinny. You will never be super flush.

Need to know if the offset is + or -. Those look like conservative wheels withOUT the widebody.

not quite sure i understand the meaning of your message, however, you won't recognize the car as a 350Z when it's completed and you can be sure it will be executed properly... ****?

Agreed. Putting TSW's on a widebody is total fail regardless of width and offset though.
