Default Who runs w/o TPMS here?

Can pick up cheap Z 18"s w no sensors, debating whether its worth it or not, I still have my base rims w great rubber, so this would be either track or DD setup, still debating .....and yes i read sticky/searched.

Thanks for input. I have an 05 base btw.

So you take the ones you already have and install them on your new wheels, then again you mention they are for the track, my track wheels have no TPMS in them.

Been without since December 31, 2008.

Only rarely does the light come on but it resets/goes away after restarting.

Ok, well that pretty much settles it....think I will pick em up and either flip em for some cash, or place about a K$ into rubber and smash the hell outta em.

Thanks guys

I just leave my TPMS in my stock rims, which are my winter wheels. My summers never had TPMS and it's been 2 years now.

I only get a light after like an hour of highway, but on key cycle once, it's gone.

I haven't had them in my Axis wheels for about 2 years.... I sold my axis wheels and bought some Works. I'm going to put them back in the Works when they get here.

so if you get new rims and dont have a TPMS in them then a light will come on in the dash? if so is there any way of turning this light off?

I had no TPMS in my wheels for about 2 years. The light never came on until I started driving longer distances. The light that looks like this...(!)... will come on when you drive over a certain amount of time I think like 45 minutes or so. Once it comes on that first time, it will always stay on.

I've read it's illegal for places to reset the warning. I don't even notice it anymore, its been blinking at me for so long now, i'm used to it.

I don't have tpms, about 1 year now. Light has always been on. And I think it's illegal for a shop to clear a light, I think you can do it yourself though. I've actually seen something you that clears the light for you.

Did all Zs come with TPMS? I have an 04 Enthusiast, and I have no idea if I have it or not.
