Plz give me some input on what you guys think... Honestly, I love how clean the XD9s look and the lip is way deeper on the XD9s. Also the color was always nice, silver on silver kept it clean... however, the Black wheels w/ meaty tires seem more aggressive to me.

Here's my solution: I'm considering powder coating the XD9s, either flat black or Mag Blue... maybe even gunmetal. Switching the tires from the XD9s to my Rotas, and vice versa (I'm starting to drift and I don't wish to drift on XD9s... Rotas tho, I don't mind beating up). Keep the Rotas as a drift wheel, and my XD9s as daily drivers w/ NT05s for whenever I feel like taking it to the drag strip (I'm also going boosted this week!). The Rotas, you can't really appreciate because of the lighting and they're dirty...

Thats what she said.

I am running 285/35/18 x 4 and loving it. 18x10.5 all around no
Spacers. What are your thoughts on the vehicle's feedback on
265 f 285 r?

You've got some good ideas. Try to keep the blue more towards
Formula than mag IMO ... Glgl

The car feels like it's hugging the road (Nt05s), I'll take it to drift on the 20th so expect more feedback then...

Why didn't you just take the spacers off the Works and put 285s on the rear?

Cuz I want to powder coat them. And didn't really plan ahead... I'll swap tires once they're powder coated... leaning towards flat black... I think they'd look pretty mean.

In 8 short years this forum has gone from "performance" to "looks." Looks include fat, stretch and spacers. If you want street performance pick tires. I have little interest in the looks game.

i liked the 1st wheels much better, would have liked to see a meaty tire setup on the other wheels instead of stretched in the correct offsets with no spacers...the new wheels are too tucked looking in the rear for me

If you don't like it, then why don't you stfu and get out of my thread? I love performance, but I also care about the way my car looks...

Those XD9s are a great looking wheel and that color is very sic. You dont see many of them. I am a big fan of black and run them on my Z. I agree that black tends to look more aggressive. The XDs to me look more high end and exotic. Tough call. IF you powder coat them maybe do satin instead of flat. GL
