just a question bout spacer..
im not asking if anyone have spacer on there car...but im asking how long have you been running on 20mm or thicker spacer with your car lowered..how is your wheel bearing from then till now..cause alot of people said wheel spacer cause the wheel bearing to wear out faster when the car lowered down..
Z wheel bearing seem to take it well until you hit something. 128k in my original wheel bearings, have had semi aggressive wheels for over 60k and a lot of time on the roadcourse.

I've been running Ichiba 30mm spacer with 285/35R19 in the rear and 38mm spacers with 245/35/R19 in the front for over a year traveling a good bit (probably 30k miles on the setup so far). I'm also dropped on an Eibach Pro kit, so I think my setup is somewhat similar to what you are looking at.
I haven't had any problems so far.
Not that you asked, but I would highly recommend that you have a good aftermarket adjustable camber/caster/toe kit for the rear (both front and rear is even better), and work with a shop that is skilled at doing alignments on lowered/modified cars. It took me a while to find the right setup so that I no longer had tire wear pattern issues due to the extra work it takes to get the alignment just right. Dropping the car makes it a challenge vs stock, but adding spacers seemed to complicate the alignment work in my case.

well my z is 06 and have 79k ... and never lowered for the life of the car .....but pro kit doesnt give me the drop i want.. but however i have a friend that have a tein s tech used..he got from the owner that have about 50k used on it then now he owned for another 50k so the tein s tech of his are pretty much settled to where i want my z ..it actually seat really nice with 19k ..so therefore i want to run spacer on my stock z rims .. but people said that spacer are not wheel bearing friendly and really wear out your wheel bearing but i seen bunch of people with spacer on there z and no one seem to have a problem
well im only at 79k almost 80k... so yea and i have the spacer here..and want to put it on so so so bad..
Just install them, my rear is a 18x10.5 +10 and has been like that for 50k+ miles, my front is 9.5 +15 and also has plenty of miles. I track and abuse the crap out of my car, the only bearing failures i have seen have been from people sliding off the road sideways.

are you lowered any chance ? right now.. i am saving up for a set of nice rims..dont know what to get but would like to save up about 3k for a set of nice rims...and tires...so therefore no tiem for bearing failure here..so threfore im asking... so let me get this straight..u are on spacer and have 10 rear and 15 front.....you are on spacers or the rims is that wide, because if the rims have 10 and 15 offset just the rims it self is still not as bad because the base of rims are resting on the hub and not spacer
Yes my car is lowered, it has been for a long time. With proper spacers (hubcentric) the spacer is basically part of the wheel. There is no differnece between buying a 18x10.5 +30 wheel and adding a 15mm spacer vs running a 18x10.5 +15 wheel. They will both damage the bearings over time.
Anytime you change the offset (with spacer or different offset wheel), run wider tires, and run wider wheels you put more load on the bearings. When you do this, YES they can wear out faster. The bearings on the Z actually take this type of abuse very well, i run a sticky 275mm wide tire up front on the race track and still havn't killed the bearings.

your car is an 06 with 80k mi and unless you plan on doing roadcourses and autox like terrasmak i wouldn't worry too much about wheel bearing failures just from dropping it
i really appriciated everyone comment and time to reply...but my car with 80k and never roadcourse or autox or drift ..just old dd and shift under 3k ..lmao..yes i love my car..and it mainly and clearly for road Daily driven only ...and all i want was lowered and put spacer on ...or ill just sell the spacer and get +12 rims
