hey guys...I purchased this Z off a member on here recently...I love the gold..but the fronts are faded and at lights dont match the rear.So im considering gettin these things re-powderd...I've been thinking about doing a crazy color...also thought about just doing the gold or a dark bronze...but bright orange is a option too..just like to get some ideas from other Z guys and wheel ******.

 

I say just get them re-done with better gold. Gold wheels on a black Z is a sick combo.

 

do them in Black chrome..or anodized bronze...gold is classic so i can't go wrong with the gold again too..

go to a powdercoater...they have plenty of samples/paint chips/slides to choose from.

update us on the colour you decide to do!

 

please, do not paint your wheels orange, it is not Halloween yet.

Isn't it bad to powder coat FORGED wheels? I thought thats why you paint them.

Do what you feel you want. Don't let people tell you to go one route cause it's the so-called standard. Tired of people saying follow the trend cause it's safe. Customizing is about being different. I bought some weds bvillens. My car is solar orange with a pearl. I'm doing a black center with a solar orange with pearl lip. If I ask people here to either refurbish them or paint them Like that 95% will say refurbish cause people like to follow the herd. I would get Flamed. If you really like Orange than roll with it.

 

Well it really iritates me the gold faded a shade in the front since the top secret gold TES are rare...might just see if I can get the fronts matched to the rears.

i hope you're stuck at work as i am cause if you dredged this ancient thread up on a friday night on your own time to ask what colour the op went with ( sarcastic or not ) then you need to get yourself a hooker.
