Usually don't like 20's on the Z, but these look pretty good.

Rides a bit stiffer, I think it handles much better. 255/30/20 on the fronts and 285/30/20 on the rear the 19s were a 245/35/19 and 275/35/19

I got the Hankook V12 tires and I just love those so far

If you want to call 19 to 20 inches a "big difference" OK.

It's either your imagination or an optical illusion. Look at his tires sizes. The new ones are within 1/4" OD of the old ones. That puts the surface of the tires 1/8" closer to the wheel opening.

This ^

When you change the rim diameter you change the section height of the tire to keep it within specs.

Now one can certainly eff with the appropriate overall diameter, but generally it's a constant.

That isn't where "wheel gap" is addressed.

It's got to be the shadow's in the new pics. The wheel gap totally looks smaller!

i know all that, the overall diameter of the 285/30/20 is a little bigger and closer to stock than my 275/35/19 so it looks a lot closer but its only .157 of an inch bigger in diameter than the 19

Personally I'm slammed on 19's and love it and thought 20's were a bit to much but I like the look on yours bro.

Love the wheels! The S5:Fs are quite probably my favorite wheels on the Z. All you really need is a Stillen front lip and your car will be how I want mines to look haha. Really looks good though

To me, it is all about the rear wheels/tires. My Nismo had 19's when I bought it and I went down to 18's...front looks fine but rear looks "small".

From a looks perspective, like the idea of front 18 and rear 19 but from the performance aspect, like my 18's all the way around
