Default What are the best new tires for the price?

Well I have GT wheels on my car. I'm looking for new tires on my car as I have winter tires on the rear and my fronts are getting worn.

Right now I have

265/35/19 (winter Bridgestone blizzaks)
245/40/18 (Bridgestone Potenza RE050)

I really hate dropping so much money on my tires. I use to have potenza's for the rear, but I had a couple blow outs and those tire aren't exactly cheap at about $300 a tire.

Any recommendation's on any other tires? Michellins, Falkens, Continentals, Bridgestones?

Depends on the quality of tire you want. For daily use i have been running Hankook V12's, IMO a really nice tire for the price. Bump up to 275/35 in the rear, it will have little effect on your speedo but make finding the size a lot easier.

I've tried stock bridgestones, kumho, general exclaim, michelin pilot sport, and continental extreme contact dws. So far, the continentals are my favorite for daily driving.

Yup, the Hankook V12's offer good bang for the buck.

to be honest, i started rocking whatever deal i can find on ebay sice even after a fantastic alognment, i still go thru innner bands of tires faster than the warranty could even serve me.. ..

the quality of the pictures alot of the sellers put up are very good, the tread depths and wear are clearly stated and pictured.. and ive foudn some ridiculous deals.. especially on non popular sizes...
I got a pair of Pirrelli P Zero Nero Asymetrico 305/25/20 tires w nearly full perfect tread depth off a bentley Continental GT for 180 bucks shipped for both..

lots of stuff like that out there...
SIMPLY MY .02 CENTS.
