The point inst that the type of spacers NEEDS them its that that is allot of stress for the stock lugs when the spacer is longer then the stud. I have seen stock lugs break from allot less then a wheel hanging an inch past the end of them.

but I guess if you just want your wheels to look good and dont care about safety or functionality your fine stressing metal that isnt meant to hold that kind of stress

Strange, I had 15mm Project Kics spacers on my stock studs all last summer. Drove it hard, autocrossed it on a regular basis. It was perfectly functional and safe. No problems at all

Should wheel studs be replaced when changing to a wheel that has a more negative offset than stock?

Personally I used to run 15mm spacers on my stock studs as well. But I upgraded to arp after seeing lugs break at an autox. A few of my lugs were stretched when I removed them as well.

I'm not saying its mandatory but when your spacers are wider then your studs are long... you can't honestly think that's safe to drive hard on. I beat on my car everytime it goes out. I'm not gonna risk losing a wheel. Buying arp studs + slip on spacers isn't much more then buying spacers with built in studs

You should probably invest in better lug nuts then. Doesn't sound like your studs are the problem, sounds like your lug nuts are.

The only thing I'm feeling is vibration at 60 mph or above, very aggravating. Ichiba v2's FTMFL!

This should solve your power loss problems, and then some!
