Default Titek Lug nuts??

I finally installed the wheels I got off Wheel dude ages ago. I have some Titek lug nuts are they any good???? Or would it be worth it to get something else??? They appear to be aluminum or some alloy..

No idea why I am asking other then they are open end and I was wondering if anyone even bothers to run that style any more???

THANX

who cares if anyone else likes/runs them? do you like them? as for quality they are good enough, they arent Rays lugs quality but they will hold your wheels on... i have open ended Blox lugs and i cant see the quality being too distant as they are the same price range and i like mine...

have you ever owned Rays lugs?

Aesthetically, I love extended open-ended lugs. In use, I would never run them in everyday driving, and especially not for track use. Dirt and debris get kicked up inside of them, and they look like garbage when the inside gets corroded/rusty--moisture sucks. There are extended lugs with closed ends too, so the longer studs argument really doesn't hold a lot of water. I guess they are a hair lighter weight than close-ended, but really, what sort of difference are we talking here.

I know that is a commentary on open-ended lugs and not specifically Titek, but still relevant. I don't know anything about the Titeks but they look OK; personally though, I would run McGaurds (and do).

I've been running the extended open-ended version for over a year, no problems at all
