Smile Change out from Work VS-XX -> SIC

I have replaced my previous set of Work VS-XX with a set of Work SIC. The car looks more serious now. Previously its more inclined to the "classic elegant". Liked both look, but the current SICs are close to about 2lbs lighter than the VS-XXs (chromed) per wheel.

Specs are
Front: 8.5x18 ET26
Rear: 9.5 x 18 ET26

Looks good... rims look a little smaller bc the spokes don't go all the way to the edge of the rim like in your previous ones, but wow they look good.

Very nice!

By the way, how do you like your Datasystem spoiler? How is the fit and finish, etc? I think that I'm going to buy one.

Thanks!

Thanks wren57.

iggman - Like the datasystem spoiler alot.
The fitting is perfect. Its also because of the perfect fit that makes it easy to align during installation as there is only one position that fits nicely on the hatch's contours. Just need to shift it around abit to find it. (just take care not to nick your paint while doing so)
Finishing is good too, non of those uneven/wavy surface you find on some cheap fibreglass spoilers. You shouldn't go wrong with it.

like the stepped lip...both wheels are nice....the style of the new ones make them look smaller than 18" thats the only drawback

those wheels would be perfect in 20" but that would defeat the purpose of the look of teh wheel..because the look of the wheel is "light"....im just rambling....anyhow..nice choice

Nope, they aren't. They are Termist SIC 2 piece. I think your S1-3Ps are forged spokes, mine isn't. Look is the only thing they are similar. The pricing is also definitely a whole lot of difference (I give it the most 65% the price of your Meisters).

I have no exact weight info on my wheels.

Ralphus, Damen - I loved my old rims too, just that I decided to "refresh" the look of the car with something different. A race ready look this time round IMO. Maybe I'll be back to mesh designs next time round.

Buletman - No problem, everyone has their own taste. The Nismos are great, but just not for me. Personally, I have a liking for some old school look. Maybe an old heart trapped in a young body. I'm 26.

Havabooz - Yeah, the rims look smaller. Wanted to go for 19" but decided against as this car is going to be tracked occasionally once the brakes are done up. The spokes themselves are only like about 14". Thanks!
