I think (pretty sure) that I have one piece wheels with a polished lip. Anyone know if it would be possible to paint the spokes and leave the polished part alone? They're the SSW 5-spoke that are copies of the Volks.

 

Yes it's possible, depending on how good it looks will depend on how you tape it
Be careful bc ive seen some of those fake rivets melt (in powder coating)

thanks for all the help guys. i like the axis penta wheels. i like the avant gardes also but the only wheel they offered in a 19 didnt have a lip. so cant do that. dont really wanna go smaller then a 19. i cant believe some think it wont look good with a painted lip?

 

It just looks goofy dude, but hey, you're free to mod as you see fit. Just make sure you get the right offsets and sizes and you should be ok. Also, check these cars out for a better frame of reference.
