JUST saying man, give it a try.

Theres a reason almost everyone and thier brother runs 18 inch Enkei RPF01s.. insanely light and makes a giant difference in driving the car.

I happen to be stuck w 20s. the F14 combo in 20 will still be lighter or just as light as my factory 17s.

Thats perfect for me, dont need anything more than that.

ANyways, im keeping my damn hands off the car for a while.. got a month and several trips planned, Ill get back to the thread when i actually have wheels on the car.
cool, looking forward to the new setup

oh, and replaced my current heavy subs w a cubby box and a JL 13T5, ( shaved 80 lbs), added a Cobb stage 2+ tune, and advanced the timing up 2 degrees.. got the afr back to 12-12.5... makes for a very fast car again... but now my traction sucks.

Perfect timing for some 305s..

Default wheels on, wheels off

so i finally got my wheels a few weeks ago..
but the cars in the shop for a built engine and FI right now.. so ive only spent about 5 minutes w them so far.. and in a car w no engine or trans, so its gaps city suddenly... raises up quite a bit on springs w out those items in the car.

the car was also dirty as hell.. and my phone camera was all i had.. and these are just roughly mounted, ie a few bolts in each. no tire dressing , just dir-tay.

I had no idea a 305 tire would be so stretched on a 12 inch rim?!?!
Seriously, i cant post in the meaty tires thread.. and i cant post in the stretched thread.. im homeless.

SO i guess after these tires are toast, Ill end up with a pair of 325 25 20's.. good ol Lambo tires. 500 bucks a piece.. eeeeesh.

anyways theres zip for bronze pics on the web now, so these show how they are gloss black inthe shade and very bright bronze inthe sun... totally color changing wheels.ha.

thanks man.. they arent exactly to my liking, but will certainly suffice. this car got 'spensive quickly.

i have to have that 12 inch width to get contact patch.. which i sadly am not getting w 305 tires. And by doing so, i get a standard concave for the rear.. you can see the difference in mine and with the orange one above.. his rears have a normal width, probably like a 10.5 and have deep concave. Oh well.

Also, not sure if ill stick w Bronze, but at the time i orderd them, i thought itd be cool to check em out.
Its cheap to powdercoat when i change my mind.

yeah for sure.. deep dish does look cooler.. but these are SICK light. I loved the rear tire fitment w the 22s for SURE... unreal major.
But the front was heinous. Ill be honest these pics really suck.. not a huge fan of them... but in real life, they are quite cool.. the colors blend better etc.

Curious why you went 305 to begin with... with a 12" wheel.

It is unfortunate that the concave goes away with the wider wheel, those wheels look sick with the concave.

agreed.. they are however super freaky light.
Thats gonna make the BIGGEST difference in terms of driving enjpyment for sure, so im cool w it.

i went w a 305 becuase good ol 1010tires says its a 12 in section width.. i thought i was right on the money.
Hell, even the 325s section width is only 12.79.

But that stretch makes them slook way too small... real werid actually.. just wanted to post finally since i did get some pics.

325s are going to look SIIIIICK from behind my car on the fwy tho... HKS style exhaust under there and my Lester wing... ill. Cant wait.

im not 100 percent sure.. but to hold them all you can really feel is the wheel center, the wheel barrel itself feels like its light as plastic. Very weird. Id assume 26-27 lbs.. feels lighter tho.. but still. Ill be less than or equal to stock total weight running a 20x12 w a 325 tire on it... MONEY>

alright alright alright......

everyone who thought i needed a lip was TOTALLY COMPLETELY F#KING... CORRECT.

These dont look right. Period.

Fuuuuuuh.

Oh well, such is life, and its not like they suck in the meantime, but the orange car up tops wheels look a million times better.

I havent even driven the car w them yet but i already know Im going to ahve to upgrade them soon next year.. and i already have the wheels i SHOULD have bought picked out.

Forged Specialties FS-M20 w a black or bronze center
20x9
22x11.5, best of both worlds.

FML.

Anyways, just to end the debate on what i SHOULD HAVE done if i had known of these beforehand. Im knda p*ssed to be honest. oh well.

NEEDLESS TO SAY THESE WILL BE UP FOR SALE AT A RIDICULOUSLY GREAT PRICE UNTIL THEN.. KEEP EM IN MIND. 20X12 +39 20X9.5 +18

I'm really wanting to get a set of 18" F14's in gunmetal but I'm warring with myself over paying the loan down before spending on non-necessities!
