Default Need advice on color for rims.

Hey guys

Getting some rims for the 300zx and its going to be a satin black. I can't figure out which color to get. I really like these rims but I am open to other suggestions as well.

http://www.xxrwheels.com/xxr_522_19.shtml

Below is the plan for the 300zx but I want more pop on the rims.

Default hmm

i have a flat black 350z wide.. and i went w bronze wheels.
Id go for gold wheels on your car tho . to answer your opinion question.

BTW, the z32 is already vastly underpowered.. I had one.. buy light wheels man, it makes a phenomenal difference.

Forgestars arent much more than the xxrs, 1600 for 20s even, i cant imagine them being much more than a grand to 1200 for 18s or 19s.

i already started a thread about wheel color on my car last week, take a search and you will see alot of pics of wheels on flat black cars.

xxr's are 500$ or so, can't afford much more. I already dumped a lot of cash this last week. Thanks for the vote though, I am really liking the gold as well.

Personally, I would go with the gold/flat black combo as well.

Not to jack the thread but how is it keeping gold wheels clean? Any harder or easier than regular silver or blacks? Can you use the same cleaner on them as other colored wheels?

If you're leaning towards gold I say go for it. Personally I'd do something bright...like I told Bmccann101...but gold will definitely look good

If you think you'd be interested in a bright color PM me...I've been considering selling my blue wheels...and they'd probably fall in your price range w/ tires mounted...blue on flat black would look sick IMO

Well I broke down, and decided this whole offset thing is to much work. I am tired of searching and guessing offsets which will fit my aggressive dream look...

So I am ordering the VarrsToen rims Monday lol

http://varrstoen.com/blog/

The 300zx at the top of the page just looks so good.. I'll start with flat black or hyper and just paint them as I see needed.

Thanks for all the responses guys, what do you guys think about the VarrsToen's?

All the info I have been getting on the offset and rim size is ridiculous. I get opposite answers, different sizes. I am so lost when it comes to sizing the rim. I want to be flush/aggressive as hell. No one can seem to deliver that but varrstoen. Their main picture is a 300zx. I really like their rims too, nice knock off from the te37 volks. I would love for my 300zx to sit like the one they have pictured.

So thats where I am at

18 8.5 front
18 9.5 rear

leave offset to varrstoen to impress me.
