Default enkei bortex RPM2 sizing question?

So im thinking about buying rims within a few months and saw the enkei bortex RPM2's in person and they look ridiculous, question is would i be ok buying a set of 4 18x9 rims with 38mm offset (5x114.3 bolt pattern is correct right?)...or would it be better to get 2 18x8 (with either a 35 or 45 offset) and 2 18x9's (with the 38 offset)....someone reply asap thanks

either way will fit. if you do 8s up front they will fit the appropriate size tire better...and save you a pound or two. do the 8 +35 and 9 + 38

digging this post up from the grave...

so DiscountTireDirect, for this wheel, you recommend 18x8 +35 for the fronts and 18x9 +38 for the rears right?

now, what tire sizes do you recommend for this set up? if i plan on lowering the suspension about 0.6-1.0", will i have any issues with rubbing?

thank you..

you can run the 8 +35 and 9 +38 with 245-40 and 275-40 without issue...even with the drop

my first set of aftermarket wheels, in the 8 and 9" sizes. They were tucked in just a little too much for my taste though. This is with stock tires.

Any idea if the RPM2's in 18x8 with a +35 offset will clear a the 13.1" Stoptech kit in the front?

I already ordered a set for my G35 sedan from Discount Tire..... I hope they fit.

can't tell you, but they BARELY cleared the brembos. do the stoptechs stick out farther from the hub than the brembo's? thats where the clearance issue would be. (in other words, are they thicker than brembos?)
