Default Need Help with front tire size

So im going to be running a 305/30/19 in the rear on eibach pro kit. Now after using the tire calculator in the sticky its telling me to fall within 3% to use a 265/35/19 up front. These are on varrtoen wheels with a +12 offset upfront. My question is does anyone know if ill have rubbing issues with that size tire on a +12 offset with eibach springs and no adjustable camber on fronts ? or should I go to a 255 width tire. P.S. the fatter the better, no stretching here. thanks

255/35 will work, 275/30 and 265/30 will also work. I would actually do the 265 for the street and you will need about -1.8 to -2 camber, with the 275 you will need about -2 to -2.2 front camber.

What is the width of the front +12 wheel? A 265/35 is still taller than a 305/30. On my wife's 04'ZR, the VDC was overly sensitive to this (exact sizes); her 07' wasn't as sensitive to it. I was surprised, but those are real data points. 255/35 or 275/30 front would better (or 265/30, which I don't like much).

The front rim width is 9.5". Any reason you dont like the 265/30 setup ?

It's just a very thin short sidewall.

I ran the 265/35 and 275/30 on a 9" +31. The outer part of your set-up is over an inch more "out" than ours was, I think you will need some camber to make it work with a large-ish tire.

Alright, if I gotta go 255/35 id rather do that then mess with the front camber. That should fit with the +12 offset right ?

Depends on the tire, usually they start to rub about +17 with a 255

i run 255/30/20 at +20 8.5 and I rub if the wheel is turned at all over reasonable bumps. Curious how my new wheels will pan out.. 20x9.5 at +17 w 255/30/20. Im pretty dropped too. I ahve camber arms, but dont wana use them for such purpose really.

I believe my over height was right at 26 inches. So overall my 20 is about the same as what you were asking.

I can imagine ( just my .02 cents added to the above of course) that you would rub in certains situations when driving thru parking lots or thru a Wendys drive thru, but not while driving fast on the fwy, etc etc.

I personally like to stay away from camber at all in the front because the roads here suck and are generally crowned badly and grab even worse w camber in the mix.

you will be able to see EVERYTHING you want to know there my man.
