Default Infiniti M45 Sport Wheels on the Z

The offset is really high (+50) on these 19 x 8.5 wheels so I'm throwing 20mm spacers in front and 25mm in the back. These are the Infiniti M35/M45 sport wheels. Found these wheels for 600 on craigslist and could not pass them up. Previous owner effed up my stock 17s. They are painted black with 3 clears coats. I think I could sell them for double the cost I paid for if I don't really like them but I tried them on when I went to look at them and they look pretty nice, just tucked in quite a bit with out spacers. What do you guys think? I have pics of the wheels before the spacers, they should be here on Wednesday so I'll post pics later. I also have gf210's and Tokico Blues on the way.

I think you need 38mm spacers.

For a nice flush look, you'll need a net offset of around +10, give or take a MM. It depends on your drop and if you do or do not want to roll your fenders. I have 8.5 width in the front with a +11 offset and it looks good. not super flush, but close enough. I'm only dropped on tein s-techs (about 3/4 of an inch).

Edit: That is a good price for a pretty nice let of wheels. Nice find!

I was in for your support until i re read:

8.5 out back is terribly thin. +50? oh dear..

you could buy a set of Axis or Vars for 150 bucks more and have the proper size and offsets.

To each his own, but for 600 bucks? nah man... and you will indeed have a ahrd time selling for double that.

Hellatucked club, haha. I personally think some staggered deepdish looks the best on the z. I'll try them out for a minute and see how they look. It will push them out to +25 rear and +30 front offset which I understand is not much farther out than the stock wheels. I think I can make money on these wheels because they are flawless and I was reading that a good set goes for 1500 so we'll see. Someone with a G will probably want them. They look great in person. I'm not putting them on until the spacers come because it looks retarded.

I'm not sure about the VDC, how can I tell? I know the tire's diameter with tires, 245/40/19, is a little larger. Is the 30mm spacers the largest you can go? If it looks too tucked with the spacers I'm getting, I'll just step my game up and get better wheels with better offsets. I heard 19 inch tires can be ridiculously expensive so may run these through the summer and then sell them.

Damn, just checked a tire calculator and I'm going to have to replace the tires to 245/30/R19 in front and 245/35/R19 in rear to make these work without throwing off the computer. That will cost more than what I paid for the entire set up. Bout to sell them then and hopefully make a profit.

Actual speed 100.0 MPH. Speedometer will read 99.87 MPH. THis is perfect choice.

After doing the tire calcs, the rears are going to be 3.86% larger in diameter and the fronts are going to be 6.52% larger. The tires are 245/40/19 all around. I read that you don't want to exceed 3% or it will throw off the Traction Control. If I got 245/30/19 in front and 245/35/19 in rear, it will be less than a 1% difference in diameter to my stock 17s but it will be costly. Should I just sell the wheels to a G owner and save the headache or will the change in diameter matter that much? What a pain in the ***.

I should have done more research before I did the impulse buy. For real, I need to start over. Black wheels is not really my thing anyways. Some mods can make your whip look worse and this may be one of them.
