Default 275 on 10.5

I'm about to get some 19x10.5s and I'd rather get 275/35s seeing as how they're much cheaper than 285/35s. Anyone have a pic of how this would look?

275/35 are actually the norm around here on a 10.5 wheel. put those 200 posts to use and search brah

I put 285 RE-11s on a 10.5" wheel, and though they don't look stretched, they look very similar to the OEM 8.0 front wheel and 225 tire setup (if that helps ). Perhaps a different brand of 28s would look wider, but that's not really the point. Looking back, I should've gone with 295s. OP, I understand the 275s are cheaper, but get something wider, I'm sure you won't regret it.

I run a 275 on a 10.5 and it looks perfect and has plenty of meat depending on your power output.

275s is the 'norm' around here for a 10.5" width. Personally I'm running 285s.

275/35X19: Actual speed 100.0 MPH. Speedometer will read 100.39 MPH. This is perfect.

i searched around now that im on my pc and found pics to satisfy me, but thanks for checking that out. mines a gt however, would they be set a bit different since theyre stock with 19s?

Not really. Since you're replacing the wheels with 10.5 in the rears, just get the setup that will be closest to your speedometer when everything's said and done. Are you going to part out your OEM wheels ?

they arent in very good condition, so im not sure its worth it. im also not sure about tracking the fivead wheels

it depends on what tire you choose. i have 275/35/18s firestone indy oval 500 on my rfp1s that are 10.5 and theyre slightly strecthed

The OEM GT tire is

Tire: Bridgestone RE050A 265/35/19

correct?


275/35X19: Actual speed 100.0 MPH. Speedometer will read 98.96 MPH. This is acceptable.
