Default Build thread for my new wheels!

Well, I decided to change the look of the Z again, so I ordered up a new set of rims. Over the course of the years, I've had 5 spoke, split 5 spoke, and 6 spoke rims on the car, , and, while I had a hard time turning down another set of split-5s, I decided to go with a set of 10-spokes this time, just to try a different look.

This is my first set of custom ordered wheels, so I got to choose every detail. Here's what I settled on:

ADV10 wheels by ADV.1
19x9.5 +0 F
19x10.5 -5 R
Step Lip (I've always had reverse lips, so I decided to give steps a try...)
Hidden bolts

These are fully forged, 3-piece wheels, and I've been told they'll weigh in at about 21 lbs each, which is 4.5 lbs less per wheel than my AMEs and 5.5 lbs less than my Volks.

Anyway, since these aren't off-the-shelf, I was able to get a few in-progess pics of my wheels (I'm purchase order 1919, which you can see on the wheels) as they're being built! I should have pics of the finished product tomorrow, and hopefully will have the wheels next week sometime...

The centers before they were cut:

The centers after cut, before finishing:

I'll post more pics when I get them...

Wow, that's pretty interesting. Did they cut the big holes with water or was it all routed?

Nothing wrong with a stepped lip.
But I don't know how I feel about those rims.

In for more pics!

Here are the next 3 pics, with color! The wheels should be here tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have time to get them on this weekend, if not it might be a couple weeks...

The color is matte light pink.

Before the matte clear:

Finished, before being shipped to me:

Very nice. I'm surprised you didn't get the center cap a different color though.
