Default What size wheels and offsets for stock suspesion?

Hi,

I am looking into getting some Enkei RPF1's 18"

I have a stock suspension and don't plan on changing that

I don't want to roll/pull my fenders or really do anything besides just swap the wheels out

Would 18x9.5 +15 front and 18x10.5 +15 rear fit properly without rubbing?
What tire size would i get? I don't like the stretched look and would probably want something on the wider side to give a little "cushion" against hitting the curb

thanks!

You probably want to go with 40 series tires and spacers for some cushion. And you have to lower the car 2 inches so it looks cool.

yah, after doing some more research it does seem 18x10.5 +15 rear is going to rub without a roll

what about a 18x10 +38? thats the next size available, or a 18x9.5 +15 or 18x9.5 +38

Go with Enkei NT03's , they are better offsets for you goals. The 9.5 +27 front and 10.5 +30 rears will fit just fine without rubbing at stock height.

lightweight wheels lol. just get the ones that look the best. people are concerned with wheel weight then go and get 19" volks lol. how much could an 18" wheel vary in weight hell. sick of people judging wheels based on weight specs and supposed strength. my fastest car (73 camaro) runs 15" steelies. to save weight all the body panels from the doors forward to fiberglass, fiber trunk (you can get this for a z) now its 400lbs less. getting aluminum wheels never crossed my mind for weight.

im sure the OP likes the look of these wheels as do i, just flaming wheel weight obsessors.

There can be over a 10 pound difference in two 18 inch wheels of the same width. The NT03 i posted is actually a stronger wheels than an RPF1, and they will be the wheels i run with R comps shortly, my RPF1's will stay as my street compound wheel.

for the money between say a rota and a volk is 3k. for around 40lbs, totally not worth it. get a painted carbon trunk and hood with the money you save on wheels. new seats, lexan (plastic) windshield and rear window, or lose 20lbs, hell i am a small guy and i fluctuate between 200 and 150lbs monthly (for boxing). I mainly think its funny that most guys talkin about wheel weight run 19's. just sayin rims are the last place to shave weight, the weight is at the lowest center of gravity you can get, considering its only 40lbs and i can shave well over 400lbs for less than $1k.

I hear what you are saying but wheel weight is something that can negatively affect ride quality, acceleration and braking.

1-2lbs is not a big deal, but before I knew better, I had purchased some cheap *** cast heavy wheels for my 96 Cobra. They were 30 lbs for a 18x8.5" wheel and they sucked the life out of my car. Not to mention they were poorly cast and out of round so they required a crazy amount of weights and still had an imbalance.

The bigger the wheel, the more important weight and construction become as more of the mass is further away from the hub.

Like i said elsewhere, don't try to help. Also start reading about rotation mass.
