Alternatives to RPF1?
Thanks for all the helpful responses guys. Gave me a lot to look at and research more. I do care more about weight then looks, but was hoping for a 5 spoke design with weight similar to the rpf1. Looks like my best option is just to get two sets of wheels or two different cars.
The thread wasn't pointless for me. This way, by doing my research early I might snag a good deal in a few months by watching classifieds.

Isn't the RPF1 a split 6? Unless I missed something, I thought he's looking for a lightweight wheel and not so much a style. I had a set of 19" BBS RGR's and they're every bit as light as my 19" TE's. I still think WEDS would be your best option b/c they're a lot cheaper(but still are quality) wheels.
*I did miss something, I just read #23... my bad.

I was dead set on the GTS wheels until I saw the weight. Then I got a ZX6 and my car feels slow.
I do the like the TE37 but prefer the look of the LM GT4's. Unfortunately, Z's around me have LM GT4's and I don't want the same thing. I did consider TE 37 MAG but some of the street roads I drive on are **** and the blue MAG wheels would look like crap on my chrome silver imho. So with cost I could be flexible with, BUT I would still prefer to keep prices down because I'm a cheap bastard. I would also probably buy used.
I guess the decision I need to make is to just buy a second car for track and use the Z for looks, but I still have a hard time putting the relatively "heavy" GTS wheels on a sports car when I know the cheaper and lighter RPF1 exist.

mag blue on silver looks good IMO
i had the LMGT4's before my Works/OEM's/RPF1's..
and they were ok. Honestly id go with 18 inch Rpf1's in whatever color you want.
the weight is awesome and the price is super cheap..theyres a reason why ALOT of race/sports/cup/drift/etc etc cars are running Rpf1's..
You cant go to a race/drift/street/etc etc event without seeing a set of Rpf1's..

The fact that one wheel is lighter than the other does not make the other wheel a "heavy" wheel. Make objective comparisons. The GTS is a 2-piece wheel but the RPF1 is not. Makes sense?. The GTS was not only made for "SUVs". People make wheel choices based on what their situation is. Unfortunately not everyone buys a sportscar to "sport" it. Just look at your situation, read through the suggestions from members and decide on what best works for you and stop "thrashing"
