They are Enkeis and I heard they aren't bad. My question is.. will the offset be ok? All 4 are 18x8.5 and 35mm offset.

I have tried using http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp but I would like to ask people for their opinion as I still don't really understand the calculator

 

You will need major spacers to make these look good. Also, 8.5 is small for out back.

 

Really? I was set on these because everyone said they are good cheap rims. Damn.. well... I'll keep looking. What offset should 18 x 8.5 have to look good? in the 20 range?

What do you mean 8.5 is too small for the back? OEM rims are 18 x 8.0

 

should at least get a 9.5 for the rear and offset range between 15-30,plus those rims really dont flow with Z bodystyle IMO

 

Enkei is a good wheel brand.

Specific offsets depend on tire size, drop, desired look... but 20's to teens will be ok.

I didn't realize the stockers were so small, I've got 10.5's out back

 

I know they aren't the best looking rims :\ Kinda on a budget here. Most of the rims on tire rack are either 18 x 8.0 or 18.5.

Yea 10.5 would be nice but it's kind of hard to find. There is only one rim on tirerack that is 18 x 8.5 in the front and 18 x 10.5 in the back. Those are the Enkei racing RPF1 but I'm looking for black rims.

 

If you like the RPF1, you can buy them in black. Many vendors on here have them.

I just compared OEM rims and the enkeis and they are almost the same.

The OEMs are 18 x 8.0 with 30mm offset
The Enkeis are 18 x 8.5 with 35mm offset

The enkeis actually go out by 1 mm i think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

foreals slow down pal lol, first of all get off of tirerack they have weak sizes lol and check out the marketplace on here if your on a budget check out 18x10.5 enkeis,varrdawgs!! and rotas.......waiting for the volk army in 3...2....1

infact check a few threads down for the varrsteon thread and enkei thread or you want some jdm bling look at weds there priced good aswell and light

 

Definitely get in touch with one of the various knowledgeable vendors in the Marketplace here. They will get you set up with the widths and offsets that you need to really make the investment worthwhile. RPF1 is a decent choice....cost effective, looks good, relatively lightweight and well-made. I say go for that, in the correct widths and offsets.

You're right about the extra 1mm. Keep in mine that boring stockers are better than most nasty aftermarket wheels, especially when you start getting into bad offsets. There are plenty decent wheels in the marketplace on the cheap.

 

Enkeis are great and there is nothing wrong with vars or rotas for dd wheels. People that put volk/bbs stickers/centercaps on their vars/rotas are the problem. And yess, I am major General in the volk army

there are MANY amazing wheels avail in sizes which will compliment, not
detract from your ride. this last weekend my boy NA&CH and I picked up
a set of rpf-1s (4 - 18x10.5 +15) w NEW 265/35 tires for $1200.

You need a setup that rocks if you're spending hard earned BENJIES.

Just tell us what you want and give up on tirecrap.com

when your replacing something, make sure it's an upgrade. Or else why replace them? OEM wheels > Budget wheels

 

Somewhat wrong,

OEM Wheels < Budget wheels in appropriate sizes with a good offset.
