Default merry christmas to me!!!!!!

picked up my s-tune and sways over at performance nissan today. jeff, jenny and jason are all very nice and helpful, not to mention they hooked me up!

I also got the nismo rear wing (replica) and the veilside vers. 1 front spoiler today as well. First will be the suspension install and then the spoilers.

Can anyone give my some tips on installing the s-tune and sways?

thanks in advance.

how are the sways? worth it you think? their not so expensive; i figure bolt ons are not particularly effective... and give away the car to cops and public with the sound.

will sways really improve handling significantly? let me know how they work out for you.

I contacted Reddog three times to see if I could pick up the spoiler directly from them yesterday when I was in L.A. but they never picked up or returned my calls. I left them messages on Saturday and then two more on monday expressing interest in buying their $129.00 Nismo rear spoiler. They never returned my calls.

So, I said screw a company that will not even answer the phone (Reddog) or return messages and spent the little extra to get the one from Performance. Performance insists it is a higher quality, which means it is supossed to be easier for the painters to paint (hopefully meaning less money) we shall see.......

ares - what did you mean about the sways making more noise to give the car away to the cops and public?

can anyone offer any help with the install????????

anyone??????

i dont see how the sways would make noise.. maybe ares means bolt-ons as in intake and exhaust? i dont know why he would mean that, but its just a guess....

all_bark, let me know how the install goes and how the overall feel is. i'm thinking of getting the suspension and sways.

thanks

I got ahold of red dog motorsports without any problems. If I called once and I didn't get them I'd call back in about 15 - 30 minutes and I'd get someone.

I got my wing yesterday I'm not sure how it compares to any other replicas. I'm goiing to take it to a paint shop and see what they can do with it.

I had my S-Tune put in yesterday. The sways about a week ago.
Here's a "how to" on the S-Tune:

And here's a "how to" on EVO sways...same principle:

Hope this helps
