I'm comin' down my neighborhood, going 32 mph in a 35.

Some guy with gray hair and skimpy (to say the least shorts) runs by and says slow down and calls me a "****ing *****." Grant it, I'm 17 so at first I had to laugh and rev my engine just a touch.

Then he stopped and started talking trash about me and my car, I got kinda violent and went after him but he kept running off.

I also said some...more than bad words so I went to Church that night to make up for it.

A jealous coward, he was a whopping 5'10" 135lbs and wouldn't stay there to get his *** pummeled...it's wrong I know. I'm generally laid back but I have no time for cowards.

Seriously, jealousy is the worst thing ever....or near it at least.

Hey, I'm middle-aged and have a Z on order and I bet a fair percentage of Z owners are middle-aged. Jealousy knows no age, it's a universal thing. In San Diego, it's usually the rice racers who talk trash if you have a nice car.

 

Violence doesnt solve anything, you'll outgrow it. As for the jealousy, it isnt an age thing. And yes im sure there are more than a few middle aged people here, careful what you say

 

I apologize for the middle aged comment, I didn't mean it as it was taken.

What I meant was I thought jealousy was for people 23 and under. I guess immaturity doesn't age out of some people.

I usually get along great with people older than me, cause' they're so much more laid back than people my age, or near it.

Guess there are exceptions to every rule.

P.S. - I usually don't lose my cool, only about once every six months or so will I lose it.

 

I look like I am 16 or 17 (I am 24). I get those looks everyday, just be nice, it pisses them off even more b/c they know you are the better person. I don't mean to sound like Plato, but it has worked for years.

As a new member of the middle-aged club, I can assure you that there is no age-limit on being a jealous as***le. Just keep your cool, and don't stoop to their level.

I'm the manager of a department of 35 supposedly grown adults, and I assure you, they can be just as infantile and petty as any teenagers or toddlers - even worse sometimes!

Enjoy your car and don't let the jerks of the world take you down with them.

 

Yeah i get some looks too sometimes. I'm 20 yrs old and when i went to pick up my car from the dealership (got it detailed)... this receptionist that worked there just gave me a look... i can't really describe it.. but it seemed as if she was tryin to say that i was too young to be driving a car like that.

I HATE jealous people. They are the reason why I don't like taking my car to the mall or theater.
