Default how to fairly price a used wheel?

I've got a question for my fellow board members. How do i price a set of used wheels and tires. Here's what i have. I have a set of mint condition Rays Gram Lights type 57s. All four wheels are bend/curb and blemish free and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports. Spec's are below. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fronts 18 x 8.5 +30 offset 245/40r18 50% tread life
rears 18 x 9.5 + 22 offset 265/45r18 50% tread life

do some research and see what the going price is for whether new or used and compare yours accordingly, as well as inclined to what you're comfortable with.

look into advertising your wheels locally on craigslist, or perhaps on a different forum. The sizing of your wheel arguably suites S-chassis better than a Z33 imho.

You could look at the wheels and tires and ask yourself what would be a price that would make you think you were getting a pretty good deal if you were buying them instead of selling them. I've had pretty good luck buying used items at good prices, so to keep my karma rating high I always make sure I give a good deal to whoever I sell something to. When I bought my 350Z back in February I decided to sell my three year old motorcycle. I sold it for half of what I paid for it, which is around what KBB was quoting. However, i included $2000 worth of mods, so I felt the buyer got a pretty sweet deal,. The bike was flawless and had been garaged the entire time I owned it.

Demand? Supply? Comparables?

This is probably a good place to start.

My personal 2 cents? These are good for track spares, though they're
in good shape. They are more likely interesting to S chassis buyers as
state above... so start at nico. here you'll be staring at your own thread
for a while.

the current marketplace is solid crapper. even great wheels in perfect
offsets are languishing. i'd say your setup is worth b/t $1000-$1200 w/o
tires... the tires are good for a stock bmw 3 series, and worth maybe $70
tops apiece locally.

Narrow wheels with high offset, not worth much for a Z owner.

If you want a technical answer figure out the rate of straight line depreciation.
(Take total costs paid for the wheels & tires) - (Salvaged Value)/(Estimated useful life of the wheels & tires).

That will figure out how much they depreciate over the course of ownership.

The regular joe schmoe answer would be to find a similar price of the used wheels that someone else is selling and price match them to the comparable.

+1

You could have just searched for what people have sold them for in the past and priced yours accordingly:
