Default Machined Lip or Leave

Hey guys,

I bought a set of 19" Volk Le37t's a little while back and just got them powdercoated gold. I just wanted to get some opinions cause I'm kinda split. Should I get the lip machined or just leave them the way they are. It is going on a PPW by the way. I've attached a picture of the wheel the way it is now for reference. Thx.

Are you sure they are Volk LE37T? They don't look like "VOLK LE37T" at all buddy. Might want to consider again about "leaving it the way it is"

Only difference between the two is color and presence/lack of machined lip...

Regardless i doubt it changes what the wheel used to be eh? lol

I do agree though, unless they were trashed before, you shoulda thought about that before you powdercoated them lol (provided they ARE LE's)...

They definitely are LE37t's, bought em off a reputable member a few weeks ago. The lip had some scuffs on it so I decided to just have the whole thing powder coated gold since that's the color I wanted anyway. Just out of curiosity, why did you assume they were fake?

I could be wrong but, once you polish the lip the finish will have to be redone.

Painted lips are easier to care for than polished lips, I'm never going back

Thx for the tips guys, I actually took all your advice and mounted them the way they are without the machined lip. Glad I did it that way because it looks much better IMO. I will put up pics tomorrow!
